Corran, Luskentyre - Available from Spring 2018

Superbly situated, stone built holiday house in the sought after village of Luskentyre. Corran has views over the award winning white Luskentyre sands. The stunning beach is a few yards from the house, accessed via a short foot path opposite. The house sleeps five (+ one), in a king size, twin and single bedroom. An extra folding bed and travel cot are available if required.

Downstairs is a cozy sitting room, with a wood burning stove, TV, DVD player (selection of DVDs), integrated audio/music system. The internet is available through Wi-fi. The dining room, with additional sofa, adjoins the well equipped kitchen.

Relax in the large garden, admiring the views or stroll to the beach through the dunes and machair.

Seol Mara, Seilebost

Luxuriously furnished cosy cottage situated a few yards from the shallow turquoise waters of Luskentyre bay, accessed via a gate at the bottom of the garden. This truly is a unique and most fantastic location.

This superbly equipped cottage sleeps four in three bedrooms. The lounge has a TV, DVD player (selection of DVDs), Xbox (various games), integrated audio/music system. The internet is available through Wi-fi. Ideal for all year round with wood burning stove and a supply of wood, oil fired central heating and thick carpets in the bedrooms and the living room. The bathroom has a pressurized shower, with linen and towels provided.

The dining kitchen is well equipped with electric hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, slow cooker and a Tassimo coffee machine. A selection of Tassimo pods are provided.

A travel cot and a high chair are available.

Relax in the enclosed garden on the picnic table overlooking Luskentyre bay towards Taransay. At low tide stroll across to Seilebost and Luskentyre beaches, at high tide launch your kayak/inflatable from the shore at the bottom of the garden.

Seòl Mara, Seilebost

Seòl Mara (meaning 'the tide' in Gaelic), recently renovated by its new owners, has been upgraded and furnished to a high standard. Relax in front of the wood burning stove in this cosy traditional cottage with views of the hills and across to Luskentyre. The cottage sleeps 4, in a master bedroom and two single bedrooms. There is direct access to the sandy shoreline from the enclosed garden.

Corran, Luskentyre

Corran, meaning the 'peninsula' in Gaelic and is the name of one of the beaches in the bay, is undergoing a renovation by its new owners. It is being upgraded and furnished to a high standard. Relax in front of the wood burning stove in this traditional cottage with views of Luskentyre, Seilebost and Corran beaches and to the island of Taransay. The cottage sleeps five (+one), in a master bedroom, twin bedroom and a single bedroom. Luskentyre beach is a very short walk from the cottage.

The Location

Corran and Seòl Mara cottages are about 15 minutes drive from the ferry terminal at Tarbert. The village of Tarbert is well served by amenities including restaurants, hotels, shops including the main Harris Tweed retail outlet for the island. Corran cottage is in the small village of Luskentyre, overlooking the beaches of Seilebost, Luskentyre and Corran. Seòl Mara is on the other side of the bay on the outskirts of the small village of Seilebost. Both cottages are set amongst some of the most spectacular scenery in Scotland, with magnificant sandy beaches and the North Harris hills as a backdrop.
